Final Fantasy Xiii Review

Mental input system with too many options to comprehend – check
Getting to that point where you suddenly realise what you should have been doing all along and realise you are completely under-powered and now need to back-track through the game – check
Big fuck off baddies – check

Even bigger fuck off baddy with 5 faces that shoot lazers at you – check
Getting to the point where you back-tracked and thought you had it all sussed and then realised you haven’t been upgrading your weapons properly – check
Dismay because you’re fucked because your weapons are crap – check
A fuck-it moment where you go in to the hard bosses with crap weapons and spend 25 minutes killing one boss only to get party wiped and have to start again – check

Then you do the same thing 3 times before doing what you should have done in the first place and back-track again – check
Think you’ve beaten the boss at last only for it to have a second form – check
The second form wipes your party with ease – check

Overall – awesome!
